DTSEN Implemented, Bogor DPRD Urges City Government to Strengthen Citizen Data Validation

BOGOR - Commission IV of the Bogor City DPRD held a working meeting with the Bogor City Social Service (Dinsos) to discuss the implications of implementing the National Social and Economic Single Data (DTSEN), the latest data collection system which is a derivative of Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 4 of 2025.

The Presidential Instruction requires local governments to synchronize social-economic data with the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) to ensure that the data used is accurate and always updated.

Deputy Chairman of Commission IV of the Bogor City DPRD, Rezky Kartika, explained that starting next year the data updating process will be carried out through field validation and verification involving the Social Service, kelurahan, RT/RW to social assistants. Therefore, he asked the Bogor City Government to ensure that the entire process runs optimally.

"The role of local governments and regional apparatus is very important in ensuring that the data collected is accurate, objective, and accountable," said Rezky, Thursday, December 11.

Member of Commission IV of the Bogor City DPRD, Endah Purwanti, added that the Bogor City Government needs to conduct massive socialization so that the public understands the DTSEN mechanism. He asked the Social Service Office to cooperate with Diskominfo so that information is easily accessible to all levels of society.

Endah hopes that the implementation of DTSEN will be able to improve the accuracy of social assistance targets, reduce double data and discrepancies, and produce more effective social policy planning.

"So the results of the DTSEN update are the main basis in determining recipients of social assistance and planning for welfare programs in Bogor City," concluded Endah.
