This Is The Reason Piaggio Liberty S 2025 Uses 125cc Machines, Not Like The Previous Model

JAKARTA - PT Piaggio Indonesia added its portfolio by launching Liberty S 2025, but for this model it packs 125 cc machines, different from the previous model which was armed with 150 cc engines.

So why doesn't the company pin the same machine as the previous model? Instead lower it down. Answering this is PT Piaggio Indonesia's PR & Communications Manager, Ayu Hapsari, giving her own reasons.

According to him, actually, if you look at the brand, the company has many brands, and wants to provide many choices in the form and function.

"Because there are those who like 150 cc, there are also 300 cc, and we provide options so that they can choose what is needed," he said, when met in the area, Kemang, South Jakarta, Wednesday, December 10.

He further said that the demand in the 125 cc segment does exist and is one of the reasons why this product comes with the choice of the machine.

"Demand really exists, for example there are women who like 125 cc machines for that we provide options," he added.

Its presence is not to divert LX 125 Vespa consumers who have already upgraded to 150 cc. According to him, consumers have their own preferences.

"They (consumers) have their own references, some like Piaggio, some like Vespa. But give them more choices," he explained.

In performance, the 2025 Piaggio Liberty S is powered by the latest generation 125cc i-get engine, which produces fine and responsive performance.

This latest technology is claimed to be able to provide fuel efficiency of up to 18 percent more efficiently than the previous generation, as well as provide a light and pleasant driving experience.
