Expansion To Kangaroo Country, Denza Opens Orders For B5 And B8 SUVs

JAKARTA - The luxury brand Denza from BYD is ready to enter Australia by opening four dealers, as well as launching B5 and B8 SUVs to enliven the country's automotive market.

Quoting from the Drive page, Wednesday, December 10, Denza is targeting several major cities such as Melbourne, Osbourne Park, Perth, and Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. The brand plans to add more dealers across the country.

The opening of the dealer is scheduled to coincide with the start of an order for two Denza launch vehicles, namely a pair of PHEV AWD B5 cars, and B8.

Denza Chief Operating Officer Mark Harland, said deliveries were scheduled to begin at the end of January 2026 for B5, and the end of February for B8, after which more spaces of exhibitions would be opened.

"I'm not targeting hundreds of dealers. At the end of the first quarter, I want to have around 15 dealers, and maybe by the end of the year, 20 to 25 dealers," he said.

Denza has opened orders for the two models above, for the price of B5 starting from USD 74,990 or around IDR 832 million, for the Australian Standard and USD 79,990 models for the Leopard trim or IDR 888 million.

Meanwhile, for B8 starting from 91,000 Australian dollars for the seven-seater version and 97,990 Australian dollars for the six-seater or IDR 1 billion model.
