JAKARTA - The Ministry of Environment (KLH) has sealed four companies that are suspected of exacerminating flooding in Aceh - Sumatra. Deputy Minister of Environment Diaz Faisal Malik Hendropriyono said the four companies had been fitted with lines of Environmental Protection and Management (PPKH).

The four companies consist of PT Agincourt Resources which is engaged in gold mining, PT North Sumatra Hydro Energy (NSHE) developer of PLTA Batang Toru, PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (PTPN III), and palm oil plantation company PT Sago Nauli.
Based on a structural search of PTAR's martube mining ownership, its largest stake is controlled by PT Danusa Tambang Nusantara, a subsidiary of the Astra group through PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) and PT Pamapersada Nusantara.
Interestingly taken from the official AHU website, there are two names as owners of benefits from the company, first Surya Paloh and second Thomas Christian. While the other 5% shares are owned by PT Artha Nugraha Agung, a regional company owned by the North Sumatra Provincial Government (30%) and the South Tapanuli Regency Government (70%).
This ownership structure ensures a direct contribution to the region since mining acquisition in 2018.
