The Corruption Session Of The Chromebook That Ensnared Nadiem Immediately Rolled, 5 Judges Were Prepared By The Central Jakarta District Court
The Central Jakarta District Court has named five judges who will try corruption cases in digitizing Chromebook laptop procurement education at the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2019-2022, which dragged the Minister of Education and Culture at that time, Nadiem Anwar Makarim, as a suspect.
The five judges, namely Purwanto Abdullah as Chief Justice, were accompanied by Sunoto, Ni Kadek Susantiani, Mardiantos, and Andi Saputra, each as member judges.
"The judge's determination was made after the Central Jakarta District Court registered a case of the Ministry of Education and Culture's Chromebook corruption case," said Central Jakarta District Court spokesman Firman Akbar, Tuesday, December 9.
Apart from Nadiem, there are three other defendants in the case whose files have been transferred, namely the Ministry of Education and Culture Technology Consultant, Ibrahim Arief and the Director of Elementary Schools (SD) at the Director General of Early Childhood Education, Basic Education, and Secondary Education in 2020-2021 as well as the Budget User Authority in the SD Directorate for Fiscal Year 2020-2021, Sri Wahyuningsih.
In addition, the file of the Director of Junior High School (SMP) at the Director General of Early Childhood Education, Basic Education, and Secondary Education in 2020-2021 as well as Budget User Authority (KPA) within the Directorate of Junior High School for Fiscal Year 2020-2021, Mulyatsyah, which has been transferred to the Central Jakarta District Court.
Previously, the Attorney General's Office (AGO) revealed that state losses due to cases of alleged corruption in digitizing the education for the procurement of Chromebook laptops at the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2019-2022 reached IDR 2.1 trillion.
"The total state loss reached more than Rp2.1 trillion," said the Director of Prosecution at the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Riono Budisantoso at the Jampidsus AGO Building, Jakarta, last Monday.

Riono said this case was related to the procurement of technology, information and communication devices (ICT) in the form of Chromebooks and Chrome Device Management (CDM) which was held in 2019-2022.
There are five suspects in the case, namely Nadiem Makarim, Sri Wahyuningsih, Ibrahim, Mulyatsyah, and former Special Staff of the Minister of Education and Culture, Jurist Tan. However, Jurist Tan's file has not been transferred, because the suspect is still at large.
