During The Pandemic, Nearly 200 Foreigners Were Deported From Bali For Misre Endangering Residence Permits

DENPASAR - During the COVID-19 pandemic, a total of 198 foreign nationals were deported from Bali. They were returned to their home countries due to criminal cases, violating public order and overstaying.

"That's the data on the deportation of foreigners during the COVID-19 pandemic," said The Head of Public Relations, Bureaucratic Reform and Information Technology section of the Bali Ministry of Human Rights, I Putu Surya Dharma, Tuesday, May 25.

From the data collected, the Immigration office or Kanim Singaraja, Buleleng Regency there are 9 foreign nationals deported in 2020. Eight people will be deported in 2021.

Meanwhile, in Rudenim Denpasar there are 30 foreigners in 2020 and 24 foreigners in 2021. Meanwhile, for Kanim Ngurah Rai, there are 71 foreigners in 2020 and 25 foreigners in 2021.

While in Kanim Denpasar there are as many as 13 foreigners in 2020, while in 2021 there are 18 foreigners.

Surya said, foreign nationals who were deported for violating the residence permit in Bali, then some after serving a criminal sentence and some who violated public order one of them violated health protocols.

"There is an violation of the residence permit, discharged criminal proceedings, violated public order," surya said.
