The Dualism Problem Of The Takraw Sporting Branch Is Officially Over
JAKARTA The dualism of the management of the sport (sports) of takraw that has occurred in recent years has been successfully completed by the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) and the Indonesian Olympic Committee (KOI/NOC Indonesia).
The Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora), Erick Thohir, has received a letter from the two agencies stating that the dualism of the management of the Takraw soccer sport has been completed.
This settlement stipulates the Executive Board of the All-Indonesian Takraw Association (PB PSTI) for the 2025-2029 period led by Surianto as the official undergraduate soccer management which is recognized nationally and internationally.

Erick said that he had received a letter of recognition for PSTI's management for the period 2025-2029 from NOC Indonesia and a decree from KONI regarding PB PSTI's personal inauguration.
"These two letters are a follow-up to the directives I gave in early October 2025 to resolve the dispute over the management of sports," Erick said in a statement.
Currently, there are still several other sports that are still in a dualism problem. They were given a deadline by the Menpora to resolve this issue until the end of this month.
Erick reminded that the other three sports that still have management dualism should immediately complete it before 2025 ends, in accordance with the time limit given, so that the focus of national sports development can run smoothly without obstacles.
"I again remind the other three sports, namely fencing, boxing, and table tennis to immediately resolve the issue of the deadline at the end of December 2025. If it is still not finished, I will take over to resolve so that there will be no more divisions for the sake of our sporting achievements," he said.
Erick further said that he was grateful for the unraveling of the problem of Indonesia's dualism in the management of Indonesian takraw. He considered this to be encouraging good news for the Indonesian sports community.
"One by one, the dualism problem is solved. This is a positive signal for Indonesia's sports steps in the future. Hopefully, it will also be a positive sign for our achievements at the SEA Games," he said.
