The final badminton match will take place at Thamasat Rangsit Gym 4 on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. The women's squad will meet with hosts Thailand, while the men face a tough test against Malaysia.

The Head of the Development and Achievement Division (Head of Binpres) of PBSI, Eng Hian, ensured that the preparations for the two teams were very mature for the very decisive match. He said the evaluation of the semifinal match had also been carried out to regulate the strategy.

"We have also held training as a final preparation. The condition of the children is quite good, their recovery is good and everyone is fit. Ready to undergo the final match," he said.

The final match between the four teams was a re-match from the 2023 SEA Games final which took place in Cambodia.

At that time, the Indonesian women's team had to settle for bringing home a silver medal from this biennial event after losing 0-3 against Thailand, while the men's team got gold after beating Malaysia with a score of 3-1.

Eng Hian said that Thailand and Malaysia would certainly put up a tight fight in tomorrow's final match. He assessed that the women's singles sector host team could be a scourge, while in the men's strengths were balanced.

"For the men's team, the strength with Malaysia is very balanced. I think the match will be fierce. Of course we will lower the best line-up and be most prepared," he said.

The Indonesian women's badminton squad will compete against Thailand at 10.00 WIB, while the Indonesian men's team will play the final match at 15.00 WIB.
