GWM Tank 300 PHEV Will Enter Australia Next Year, Next Indonesia?
JAKARTA - The Great Wall Motor (GWM) plans to add its lineup of models to the Australian market, with the latest model 300 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) Tanks arriving in 2026.
Quoting from the Drive page, Tuesday, December 9, there is no detailed information regarding the complete specifications, but its presence can certainly be an alternative for users who want vehicles with an off-road sensation but offer quite a long distance.
"The recognition marks the next step in GWM's commitment to bringing powertrain electricity to the market, as well as continuing to bring the tough capabilities expected by Australian buyers," GWM said in its release.
Referring to the local Chinese market, the GWM Tank 300 PHEV is equipped with a 37.1 kWh battery which is claimed to be able to cover a distance of 105 km WLTP certification, while the fuel consumption is said to be 2.1 liters per 100 km while the battery has a high charging status.

In dimensions, this model has a length of 4,750 mm, a width of 1,930 mm, a height of 1,903 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. Exteriorly and its outer appearance, Tank 300 Hi4-T 2025 retains a dashing character.
Entering the cabin, the interior comes with a modern feel with a firm horizontal layout. The floating touch screen is 14.6 inches into a control center, combined with a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel.
The GWM Tank 300 PHEV still presents physical buttons for various off-road functions. The model is also equipped with electric sunscreen, electric front seat settings, seat heaters, rear air conditioning ventilation, and 360 degrees camera.
Meanwhile, in Indonesia GWM also markets the HEV 300 GWM Tank which is priced at IDR 849 as well, this new model could also be marketed here.
