Fulfilling Customer Needs During Nataru Holidays, Bank Mandiri Prepares IDR 25 Trillion In Cash
JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) continues to reinforce its commitment as a strategic partner of the government in maintaining the smooth running of public financial transactions during the momentum of religious holidays and national holidays.
Welcoming the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 (Nataru) periods, Bank Mandiri prepared a net cash requirement of IDR 25 trillion, an increase of 5.8 percent compared to the previous year's realization.
Bank Mandiri Corporate Secretary Adhika Vista explained that part of this value will be used to meet the daily needs of around 12,958 ATM/CRM Mandiri which reaches around Rp. 2 trillion.
He added that the funds were allocated to meet the needs of public cash transactions for 33 days from December 1, 2025 to January 2, 2026.
Adhika said that this increase in allocation is part of the synergy and acceleration of financial services to ensure that all banking networks are ready to serve the community during the peak period of year-end transactions.
We estimate that customer transactions during the Christmas and New Year 2026 period will increase. Therefore, we strengthen the synergy between branch networks and digital services to maintain the availability of cash and provide smooth and safe transaction services," he said in his statement, Tuesday, December 9.
He added that the Company had prepared anticipatory steps against the surge in transactions on ATM and EDC networks.
As for now, Bank Mandiri operates 12,958 ATM/CRM units connected to ATM Link networks, Joint ATMs, Prima ATMs, and Visa/Plus throughout Indonesia, and 290 CSM.
Adhika said that his party projects that the peak need for ATM cash filling will occur one day before Christmas and one day before the New Year 2026.
"We also estimate that transactions on EDC machines including QRIS transactions will increase with the distribution of THR and increase public consumption ahead of Christmas. For this reason, we have prepared more than 307,000 EDC networks to support non-cash transactions," explained Adhika.
As part of the acceleration of digital transactions, Bank Mandiri also distributed 956,250 e-money electronic money throughout Indonesia.
Meanwhile, the Call Center 14000 and Live Chat MITA services on the official WhatsApp account (+62 811-84-14000) were alerted to support customers during the holiday period.
In addition to physical services, Bank Mandiri ensures the full readiness of the digital banking ecosystem such as Super App Livin' by Mandiri, Kopra by Mandiri, SMS Banking, and Call Center 14000 so that customers can make financial transactions easily anytime and anywhere.
In addition, there is the Livin' Sukha feature that customers can use to make various transactions such as purchasing plane tickets, train tickets, concerts, game vouchers, to applying for credit easily.
"This transformation is a clear proof of Bank Mandiri's continuous commitment and synergy to provide fast, easy, and safe financial solutions for the whole community," said Adhika.
He added that Bank Mandiri also continues to educate customers to continue to maintain the confidentiality of personal data in conducting digital banking transactions, especially being careful in providing confidential data to any party on behalf of Bank Mandiri.

Adhika explained that Bank Mandiri has never asked for the confidentiality of customer data including card numbers, OTP, CVV, CVC, and others. In addition, customers are advised not to be easily provoked to click on or install APK-formed files.
As for October 2025, Livin' by Mandiri has been downloaded nearly 35.8 million times and has also managed up to 3.3 billion transactions or an increase of 5 percent year-on-year (yoy).
In addition, the total value of Livin' by Mandiri transactions reached IDR 3,621.8 trillion, an increase of 9 percent (yoy), in line with the need for customer financial solutions.
