Convey Condolences, Transportation Agency Reveals Chronology Of SKK Migas Officials Hit Transjakarta Bus

JAKARTA - A cyclist died after crashing into a Transjakarta electric bus on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Central Jakarta, this morning. It is known that the bicycle user is the Vice President of SKK Secretary Migas Hudi Dananjoyo.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, expressed his condolences for the incident. The DKI Provincial Government will follow the handling of the case which is now under investigation by the Polda Metro Jaya.

"On behalf of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, we express our deepest condolences for the tragedy that occurred. Currently the case is being handled by the Polda Metro Jaya, and we will continue to oversee the entire process," said Syafrin in his statement, Tuesday, December 9.

Syafrin explained that this incident occurred at around 06.20 WIB in front of the Transjakarta Karet Sudirman Bus Stop, when the area was busy with the activities of residents leaving for work.

The accident occurred when the victim was traveling from the south to the north. At the same time, the non-BRT Transjakarta electric bus route 4C operated by Damri with police number B-7058-SGX was stopped to lift and unload passengers.

The collision occurred right in front of the Karet Sudirman Bus Stop, the collision occurred. Officers in the field said the victim was seriously injured and could not be saved. The body was then taken to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) for a visum et repertum examination to determine the identity and cause of death.

From this incident, Syafrin reminded the importance of the vigilance of all road users, especially in areas that are crossing various modes of transportation.

"Always obey traffic rules and signs, use safety equipment, maintain safe distance, and always prioritize safety," he added.
