Before Deciding To Fire 51 Employees, KPK Had A Debate During The Coordination Meeting
JAKARTA - Vice Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Alexander Marwata said his party had argued to try the fate of 75 employees who did not pass the National Insight Test Assessment (TWK). This debate was conducted in a coordination meeting held at the office of the State Personnel Agency (BKN).
Alex admitted that the debate in the meeting related to the cause of the lack of escape of dozens of employees.
"We asked for details of what were the reasons of the 75 employees which were later elaborated. Quite a long debate," Alex said in a press conference held at bkn office, Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo, East Jakarta, Tuesday, May 25.
Even so, KPK and a number of institutions that attended finally decided that only 24 employees who did not qualify twk could still work. While the rest, 51 employees will be fired from their positions.
"Finally it was concluded that we agreed with 24 employees who qualified for coaching," he said.
However, Alex did not specify which of the 51 employees would effectively be laid off on November 1.
This dismissal was taken because the antirasuah commission requires qualified employees from various aspects. "KPK should try to build human resources not only aspects of ability but also aspects of love for the country, defending the country, and loyalty to Pancasila, the Law of the Republic of Indonesia, and legitimate government," said Alex.
"And free from radicalism and illicit organizations," he added.
Previously reported, the coordination meeting was attended by a number of parties. In addition to the KPK and the State Personnel Agency (BKN), the meeting was also attended by Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly and MenPANRB Tjahjo Kumolo.
The National Insight Test (TWK) was attended by 1,351 KPK employees. Of these, 1,274 were declared eligible.
Meanwhile, 75 employees including Novel Baswedan, Chairman of kpk employee container who is also an investigator Yudi Purnomo, Director of Socialization and Anti-Corruption Campaign KPK Giri Suprapdiono, Kasatgas KPK Harun Al-Rasyid, and Director pjkaki Sujarnarko declared ineligible (TMS). The other two employees were not present in the interview.
