Indonesian Diaspora Warmly Welcomes President Prabowo's Visit To Pakistan

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto's visit to Pakistan on Monday, December 8, was marked by a warm atmosphere. Prabowo was greeted by a number of Indonesian diaspora. Prabowo's arrival was also enlivened by the appearance of art and culture performed by Indonesian diaspora mothers in Pakistan.

Tamara, one of the diaspora representatives who took part in the appearance, shared the extraordinary enthusiasm behind their preparations. They performed struggle songs, accompanied by traditional angklung instruments.

"It's really fun, we only have 10 days of training. Because of his enthusiasm, all the songs were transformed to be finished. The important thing is that all of the women, perform struggle songs," said Tamara, quoted by the president's media, Tuesday, December 9.

Not only watching, Prabowo even joined together when he approached the diaspora who appeared. Tamara expressed her happiness to see Prabowo enjoy the atmosphere together.

"Follow you, we are happy to see you come to us all," he said.

Tamara also expressed her best prayers and hopes for Prabowo.

"We hope that the President will always be healthy, enthusiastic. Because we are all enthusiastic," concluded Tamara.

Prabowo's state visit to Islamabad, Pakistan, will take place from 8-9 December 2025. The visit was based on an invitation from the Pakistani government and was carried out after Prabowo spent the night in Aceh to directly observe disaster management.
