Bogor City Government Strengthens Disaster Response, Hospital Sends Medical Team To Sumatra
BOGOR Bogor City Government through Bogor City Hospital sent a medical team to assist in handling disaster victims in North Sumatra (North Sumatra) and West Sumatra (West Sumatra). The delivery of health workers was carried out in collaboration with the One Nation Country Foundation in the National Children's Movement program to assist disaster management in Aceh, West Sumatra, and North Sumatra.
Plt. Director of the Bogor City Hospital, Sri Nowo Retno, said that the departure of medical personnel was carried out in stages. In the first period, an ICU nurse was dispatched on December 2 with a medical team from various regions.
"We sent one ICU nurse who has joined the team since December 2. They will serve for seven days at the disaster site," said Retno, Monday, December 8.
In addition to the ICU nurse, the Bogor City Hospital has also again dispatched an additional team consisting of one doctor and two nurses. In the same group, three traditional massage therapists from Cimande also departed.
"For the next batch, the departure is still being coordinated by the Bogor City Health Office," he added.
Based on the field team's report, until December 5, 2025 health services at the Muara Batang Toru District Command Post, South Tapanuli Regency, recorded 24 trauma cases, 211 non-traumatic cases, and one case of wound care. There was no home care service during that period.

The delivery of this medical team is a form of the commitment of the Bogor City Government in providing solidarity support for people affected by disasters in various regions of Indonesia.
