Bogor Satpol PP Lowers Dozens Of Illegal Reclames On The Peak Line
BOGOR - Bogor Regency Satpol PP, West Java, deployed dozens of illegal billboards on the Puncak route as part of controlling public spaces and efforts to reduce potential security disturbances and congestion.
The Head of Public Order of the Bogor Regency Satpol PP, Rhama Kodara, said that 133 billboards were delegated to be brought under control, and 96 of them were included in the control target.
"So far, we have deployed around 12 billboards from the Cisarua area to the Indonesian Safari Park," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, December 8.
Control is carried out to ensure that billboards in public spaces meet the licensing provisions and do not interfere with the aesthetics or safety of road users.
In addition to billboards, Satpol PP also regulates six merchant carts at the corner of the Puncak route because it has the potential to cause traffic jams, especially ahead of the arrangement work carried out by the PUPR Service.
Rhama explained that the arrangement of public spaces was carried out simultaneously by evaluating a number of traditional markets in Ciawi, Cikereteg, Parung, and Megamendung as part of improving community services.
He emphasized that all control activities were carried out in stages and involved collaboration with the sub-districts and related regional apparatus so that the results of the arrangement could take place optimally.
Meanwhile, Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto emphasized that the Puncak area is a national strategic route that functions as access to main transportation as well as superior tourist destinations in Bogor Regency.
"The arrangement of the Puncak area is not only about infrastructure, but also touches on social, economic and environmental aspects. We want to create an orderly, beautiful, and sustainable area," said Rudy.
