BANDUNG - The Bandung City Government (Pemkot) expressed full support for the policy of West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi regarding the temporary suspension of the issuance of housing permits in the Greater Bandung area.

According to him, the Bandung City Government is ready to follow up on all directives in the circular, including the temporary suspension of the licensing process, review of housing development in disaster-prone areas, to increasing technical supervision in the field.

He also emphasized that the Bandung City Government will not hesitate to impose strict sanctions on parties who violate the provisions in the circular or rules of the applicable spatial planning.
