James Harden Is In The Top 10 Most Scorers In NBA History
JAKARTA The Los Angeles Clippers star, James Harden, was among the top 10 NBA's all-time top scorers when his team suffered a 106-109 defeat to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday, December 7, 2025, local time.
Harden got up in 10th place past Carmelo Anthony who has a collection of 28,289 points. Harden only needed 21 points when he came into the game against Timberwolves to get past Carmelo's record.
The 36-year-old basketball player managed to score 34 points in the match against the Worlds so he has now collected a total of 28,303 points in the long career journey in the world's best basketball league.

"Bless you. A testament to the hard work I have done. It's an honor, especially with someone like Carmelo, who has done so many great things for this league," Harden said as quoted by ESPN.
Above Harden on the NBA list of the top points scorers is Shaquille O'Neal. He ranks ninth on the list with a collection of 28,596 points. In front of him is Kevin Durant who collects 31,051 points.
"Look at the list. It seems impossible for me to get on this list. It feels like a dream come true. The hard work that I put forward finally paid off," said Harden.
Harden has recorded an average of 26.8 points this season. He is one of the top three guards, along with Kobe Bryant (33,643) and Michael Jordan (32,292), who are in fourth and fifth place of all time, respectively.
Earlier last season, Harden surpassed Ray Allen for second place in the list of the top three-point scorers of his career, behind Golden State's Stephen Curry.
Harden has recorded 3,255 three-shots, but he said he will most likely not be able to catch Curry, who has scored 4,111 three-point shots.
