KRI RJW Medical Team Quick Action At Sibolga Pier: 25-year-old Patient Rescued On Ship
SIBOLGA - The medical team on duty on the Warship of the Republic of Indonesia (KRI) Radjiman Wedyodiningrat-992 (RJW-992) carried out operations for victims of flash floods in North Sumatra.
The operation was carried out when the Indonesian Navy's hospital ship docked at Pelindo Sibolga Pier, North Sumatra, Sunday (December 7).
Head of the Indonesian Navy Information Service, First Admiral of the TNI Tunggul, when confirmed in Jakarta, Monday, confirmed the operation of a patient named Libertus Alexander (25) who had stomach membrane inflammation due to a stomach leak.
"Thanks to the alertness of the surgical team on board, rescue measures have been carried out. The patient's condition is currently reported to be stable and is undergoing further hospitalization at the KRI RJW-992 health facility," said Tunggul.
In addition to operating services, KRI RJW-992 also opens public health services and free teeth for residents.

"On the same day, six large oxygen cylinders were refilled to support the operation of the Metta Medika Sibolga Hospital by KRI RJW," said Tunggul.
Tunggul emphasized that the presence of KRI RJW-992 is a form of TNI AL's commitment to support the recovery process after the flash flood disaster in North Sumatra. The hospital ship will remain on standby at the disaster site to support health services for affected residents.
