Sad News, Kandung Hedi Yunus' Brother Dies

JAKARTA - Sad news came from a senior singer, Hedi Yunus. His older brother, Hj. Wawang Yuwansyah bint H. Moch Junus Martadiredja, who is also the mother of actor Ozip Ismaputra, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025.

This news was conveyed directly by Hedi Yunus through an upload on his personal Instagram account. In the upload, Hedi informed that his brother died at 02.58 WIB at Muhammadyah Hospital in Bandung, right at the age of 69 years.

"Innalillahi Wa Innailaihi Roji'un. My brother Hj. Wawan Yuwansyah bint H. Moch Junus Martadiredja has passed away," Hedi wrote, starting the sad news.

The body is buried in the funeral home located on Jalan Salendro Timur IX number 12, Bandung. The plan is that the deceased will be buried on the same day after the Dzuhur prayer time.

In his message, Hedi Yunus also respectfully apologized for all his mistakes during his life and asked for the best prayers for the deceased.

"Please open the door to apologize profusely if there is an error from the late. Please pray for the best for the deceased," he asked.

This sad upload was immediately flooded with condolences from friends and fellow artists in the comments column. A number of big names such as Shanty, Mario Ginanjar, and Rieta Amilia were seen expressing their condolences for Hedi Yunus and his extended family.
