BPBD Records Hundreds Of Houses In Bangka Regency Affected By Rob Flood
SUNGALIAT - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, noted that hundreds of houses were affected by tidal flooding or overflowing high tides when sea levels were high.
Head of BPBD Bangka Rusmansyah Regency in Sungailiat, Sunday, said hundreds of houses affected by tidal flooding occurred in RT 03 and RT 04 in the Hanyut Sungailiat Water Environment as many as 200 houses and in Rebo Sungailiat Village as many as seven houses and in the Pasir Village.
"Some of the tidal floods have entered the residents' yard and have even recalled the road," said Rusmansyah.
He explained that water with an average height of less than 50 centimeters began to enter residential areas in the morning.
"We are still monitoring the field by deploying a number of BPBD officers to determine the development of the flood, although so far no residents have been evacuated," he said.

"In addition to monitoring flood-affected areas, we coordinate with other flood-prone areas such as Lumut Village, Riau Silip District and Belinyu District," said Rusmansyah.
The team in the field coordinated with the village government, he said, to collect data and assist if the threat of flood water further endangered residents.
