Taiwan Offers Smart Manufacturing Technology To Encourage Indonesian Industrial Efficiency
JAKARTA Taiwan again displays its industrial power through Taiwan Smart Manufacturing Pavilion at the Manufacturing Indonesia 2025 event at JIExpo Kemayoran on December 3 to 6, 2025.
The pavilion presents more than 30 technology companies offering sustainable engine, automation and manufacturing solutions to support the transformation of the domestic industry.
Various technologies are exhibited, ranging from machine tools, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, precision motion control, AIoT-based industrial computers, green manufacturing solutions, to energy-efficient automation machines.
All these innovations target industrial needs that are increasingly demanding energy efficiency, high productivity, and sustainability.
The official exhibition opened through a press conference featuring five Taiwanese companies: HIWIN, ELITE AIR, C&T Solution, KEYARROW, and KING NICE.
Each features its latest technologies, such as precision motion control, energy-efficient air compressor, edge AI computing for electric vehicles (EVs), engine protection systems, to ESG-based coolant management.
National engine distributor First Machinery Trade Co (FMTC) also explained the application of Taiwanese technology which is considered capable of increasing domestic industrial productivity.
Energy Efficiency Is The Focus Of ELITE AIR Technology
ELITE AIR is one of the companies that attracted attention through the air compressor of the latest two stages.
Since introducing the technology in 2019, more than 220 units have been installed in various parts of Indonesia.
The four-telements technology he carries is claimed to be able to provide a more stable performance and better energy efficiency.
A pressure drop of 1 Bar is said to save up to 7 percent of energy.
The company also embeds IoT connectivity and AI-based analytics for real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance.
The main focus of our product is to make machines more energy efficient. Every new model must be more efficient than the previous model," said Suryanto, Sales Manager of ELITE AIR. He added that the 24-hour industrial needs demand operational efficiency, so that low-cost and energy-efficient solutions become more relevant.
On the second and third days of the exhibition, Taiwan Smart Manufacturing Pavilion held a collaborative seminar with Aspira Sekawan Prima and Omega Taiyo Teknologi.
The topics covered include the implementation of smart manufacturing in various industrial sectors.
The agenda was continued with Agent Tour with Jaya Metal Teknika to show directly the application of Taiwan technology to industry players.
During the exhibition, visitors can also take the Smart Factory Challenge and lottery prizes for Jakarta's round-tripei plane tickets.
Encourage Industrial Transformation 4.0
The manufacturing sector is still one of the biggest contributors to the national economy. The Ministry of Industry noted that this sector contributed 18.5 percent to GDP and absorbed nearly 18 million workers. The added value of the industry is estimated at 216.6 billion US dollars in 2025.
Through the Making Indonesia 4.0 policy, the government encourages the development of electric vehicles, the battery industry, and automation to strengthen industrial competitiveness.
