Erick Thohir Hopes That There Are People With Disabilities Who Become Leaders Of SOEs
JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir hopes that there are leaders of state-owned enterprises from people with disabilities.
"Especially for people with disabilities, we continue to have programs of improvement or upgrading that we also hope that one day there will be leaders of SOEs from people with disabilities," said Erick Thohir in "The Inauguration of the Best Papuan Sons and Daughters and Persons with Disabilities to Work in SOEs" in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, May 25.
The Ministry of SOEs, continued Erick, does not distinguish anyone and this is a partiality that is expected to be sustainable by the Ministry of SOEs.
This is a commitment in BUMN so that not only can meet the target but also continue training so that those who have joined have the same capabilities and fighting power and cooperate with each other by upholding the core values of SOEs namely AKHLAK.
"In addition, with the policy of work, facilities and access to technology that favors people with disabilities in the office and work from home activities that are not only in the pandemic, but also in the post-election period," said the Minister of SOEs.
SOE Minister Erick Thohir expressed his deepest appreciation to the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia K.H. Ma'ruf Amin who continues to support the programs of the Ministry of SOEs.
"And also the highest appreciation to the ranks of the Forum Human Capital Indonesia or FHCI which certainly does not get here, but every year we have to have an increase in Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that we have agreed," said Erick.
A total of 1,000 of Papua's best sons and daughters, including people with disabilities, were appointed by Indonesian Vice President Ma'ruf Amin as employees of so-called state-owned enterprises at the Vice President's Palace, Jakarta, on Tuesday, May 25.
The Vice President said that the inauguration of Papuans and people with disabilities is a manifestation of the Government's commitment delivered by President Joko Widodo on September 10, 2019.
According to the Vice President, the inauguration is a new spirit from the Government, especially state-owned enterprises, in realizing welfare for all Indonesians and bringing pride to the people of Papua.
Through the inauguration, the Vice President believes that all Indonesians are proud of the success of Papuans as well as people with disabilities in serving the nation and the country through state-owned enterprises.
