BPBD Records Bandang Flood Death Victims In Agam Reaches 180 People

JAKARTA - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Agam Regency, West Sumatra (West Sumatra), recorded that the death toll from hydrometeorological disasters in the area reached 180 people.

"This is based on the victims who were found dead due to landslides and flash floods on Saturday (6/12) night," said Head of BPBD Agam Rahmat Lasmono as reported by ANTARA, Sunday, December 7.

He said the 180 victims came from Malalak District (11 people), Matur (one person), Tanjung Raya (10 people), Palembayan (132 people), and Ampek Nagari (one person). In addition, he said, 24 people have not been identified.

Then for the victims who have not been found, he continued, as many as 78 people are spread across Malak District (six people), Palembayan (69 people), Lubuk Basung (one person), and Tanjung Raya (two people).

"We will continue the search on Sunday (day), by deploying a joint SAR team from BPBD Agam, Basarnas, TNI, Polri, PMI and volunteers," said Rahmat Lasmono.

Adapun korban yang dirawat akibat mengalami luka-luka sebanyak 13 orang. Sementara untuk warga yang mengungsi sebanyak 10.167 orang dan warga yang terisolir 9.464 orang,

Sementara rumah rusak ringan 377 unit, rusak sedang sebanyak 273 unit, dan rusak berat mencapai 728 unit

Selain itu jembatan rusak ada di 26 titik dan telah diperbaiki sembilan titik, jalan rusak 37 titik, fasilitas pendidikan 11 titik dan lainnya.
