Two Perpetrators Of Beatings At Koja Successfully Arrested By North Jakarta Metro Police

The North Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit arrested two perpetrators of the beatings with the initials RF (23) and ZAA (19, in the context of Operation Brush Jaya 2025. The arrests were made in the Koja area, North Jakarta, on Friday 5 December 2025.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto said the arrest was based on the LP/B/2316/XII/2025 police report received on December 4, 2025.

"Two perpetrators with the initials RF (23) and ZAA (19) were successfully secured without a fight," he said in a written statement, Saturday, December 6, 2025.

Budi said that apart from the perpetrators, his party also confiscated evidence in the form of a Yamaha NMAX motorcycle, duct tape, and a cellphone belonging to the victim.

"This quick action is taken to prevent victims and their families from continuing to be traumatized and maintain a sense of security for the community," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of Criminal Investigation at the North Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Onkoseno, stated that the entire prosecution process was carried out professionally and aimed at providing legal certainty for victims.

"The most important thing is that victims get justice," he said.

The two perpetrators have now been handed over to the North Jakarta Metro Police for further investigation. including deepening the motives and examination of witnesses. Onkoseno appealed to the public to immediately report to the police if they met or experienced a crime.

"The National Police ensures that each report will be followed up quickly, transparently, and still prioritizes a humanist approach," he concluded.
