TANJUNG CELLOR Condolences and solidarity flowed from the Nur Aryaguna Mosque at the North Kalimantan Regional Police Headquarters (Mapolda) on Friday, December 5.

Hundreds of Kaltara Police personnel gathered in an atmosphere full of silence to perform Friday prayers, occult prayers, and prayer together for victims of flash floods and landslides that hit North Sumatra, West Sumatra, and Aceh.

"After Friday prayers, the congregation immediately performed a hidden prayer, in an atmosphere of emotion, prayers were offered to the victims who died, as well as asking for safety for residents who were still affected in the disaster area," said Kombes Budi.

"This joint prayer is a form of empathy and closeness of the Kaltara Police to people in other areas who are being plagued by disasters," he continued.

He also expressed his appreciation to all TNI (National Police) personnel who work tirelessly in the field to help evacuate and handle emergencies.

"Hopefully the officers will always be given health, safety, and strength in carrying out humanitarian tasks," he said.

Budi added that this joint prayer was closed with a dhikr that was held simultaneously, bringing a shady and sincerity atmosphere.

"The Kaltara Police sent a message that caring and prayer are forces that unite the nation in the midst of grief," he concluded
