Polda Metro Jaya deployed 1,600 joint personnel to oversee the Christmas Celebration of the Tiberias Indonesia Church which was held at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Main Stadium, Saturday, December 6, 2025.

Joint personnel were alerted to ensure that the event, which is estimated to be attended by 75 thousand congregations, runs safely and in an orderly manner.

The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto, said that all personnel were deployed to provide services that were easily accessible to pilgrims. Starting from information services, crossing assistance, traffic regulation, to health service support.

"Our focus is on providing friendly and easily accessible services to all congregants so that they can worship comfortably," he said in his statement, Saturday, December 6, 2025.

Budi revealed that this security does not only involve the police, but also elements of the TNI, DKI Provincial Government, medical personnel, and a number of volunteers. Integrated service posts are also prepared for congregants who need quick assistance.

"We urge the congregation to arrive early before the event starts, we also prepare an integrated service post for those in need," he added.

Budi reminded the public to participate in maintaining a conducive atmosphere during the activity, including the matter of traffic engineering around GBK.

According to him, the adjustment was made for the smooth running of worship which was one of the big Christmas agendas in the capital city.

"If there is traffic adjustment, we apologize profusely. Everything is done for the smooth running of these activities. We also urge the public to follow the directions of officers in the field," he said.

It is hoped, said Budi, that the celebration will run safely and with joy. The public is also asked to actively report if they find disturbances to the security and social order.

If you see or experience something that has the potential to disrupt security, please immediately contact the Police Call Center 110. This service is free and active 24 hours," he concluded.
