Official Practice Officially Opened: Belitung Ready To Welcome 2025 AETI Aquabike Indonesian Championship Round Final

JAKARTA - The official practice series for the AETI Aquabike Indonesian Championship Season 2025 Final Round is officially open on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the Tanjung Tinggi Geosite, Belitung.

The opening of this training session marks the full readiness of all elements of the organizers in welcoming the main tournament which will take place on December 6, 2025.

Today's inaugural training session includes track briefing & orientation, screening or vehicle inspection, as well as official training for three categories, namely endurance, closed course / circuit, and parallel slalom.

All agendas are running according to the schedule that has been compiled by Race Management and supervised by a professional technical team, ensuring that every participant enters the main tournament in a ready-to-play condition.

To support the smooth running of the exercise, rescue teams, marshals, and medical personnel were deployed at strategic points of the track. This step is part of the commitment of the organizers to maintain international safety standards throughout the event.

Since morning, local residents and tourists have been enthusiastic about watching the actions of the riders who warm up. MSME activities around the event area began to stretch, signaling the positive impact of events on the local economy.

Towards the weekend, the flow of tourists was recorded to have increased significantly. This enthusiasm is proof of the large public expectations for the implementation of the first Jetski National Championship Round Final in Belitung.

AETI (Indonesian Tin Exporters Association) together with national collaborators ensures that preparations take place quickly, solidly, and professionally. Race Director, Anton Suprapto, hopes that today's training session will be able to attract more visitors.

"Hopefully this official practice can build hype for local residents to come visit and watch the Aquabike Final Series," he said in an official statement quoted Friday, December 5, 2025.

The Chairperson of AETI as well as the event initiator, Harwendro Aditya Dewanto, emphasized the importance of this moment for the progress of sport tourism in Belitung.

"I appreciate today's official practice agenda. It is extraordinary that the preparation is only one month, but it can hold a national event. It is also an honor for Belitung to be the host of the Jetski National Championships in 2025," he said.

Today's official practice is also a warm-up event for athletes before taking part in the main tournament this weekend.

Dozens of national riders are scheduled to compete in the Final Series, closing the Indonesian jetski season in 2025.

With all the optimal preparations, Belitung is now ready to host the proud for sport tourism on a national and international scale.
