1,600 Joint Personnel Secure The Christmas Celebration Of The Tiberias Church At GBK Saturday Tomorrow

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya deployed 1,600 joint personnel to support the smooth Christmas Celebration of the Indonesian Tiberias Church (GTI) which was held at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK), Saturday (6/12).

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Budi Hermanto said all personnel were deployed to provide the best service, ranging from information services, crossings, traffic control, to health services.

"Our focus is on providing services that are friendly and easily accessible to all congregants so that they can worship comfortably," Budi said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, December 5.

The joint personnel deployed involved elements of the National Police, the TNI, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, medical personnel, and volunteers. "Officers are placed in crowded points and entrances to help the congregation, including the elderly and family with small children," he said.

Budi also appealed to the congregation to arrive early before the event began, the integrated service post had also been prepared for those in need.

He asked for community support to participate in maintaining a conducive atmosphere during the activity and apologize if residents' activities were affected.

"If there is traffic adjustment, we apologize profusely. Everything is done for the smooth running of these activities. We also urge the public to follow the directions of officers in the field," he said.

He hopes that the Christmas celebration can be peaceful, full of joy, and become a moment of togetherness for all people and invites the community to play an active role in maintaining the security of the capital city.
