WIKA Working On Two Projects At IKN, Value Reaches IDR 3.66 Trillion
JAKARTA - PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) has again received a project in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan.
This time, the company will build areas of high state institutions, such as the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) and the House of Representatives (DPR) in the new capital city.
The first contract is the construction of Buildings and Areas of DPR II Institutions in IKN with a value of IDR 1.96 trillion.
The scope of work includes the construction of three main buildings, namely structure, architecture, MEP and interior.
Then, there is geotechnical work, landscape, lighting, information structuring and directing signs to the pavement of roads and bridges.
WIKA will also handle work on drinking water, wastewater, drainage and other regional utilities.
Meanwhile, the second contract includes Building Development Packages and Areas of the MPR Institution and Supporting Buildings at IKN worth IDR 1.70 trillion.
The scope of work includes the construction of major buildings along with regional arrangements that support the operation and representation of state institutions within the new government center.
Thus, the company's total contract value reached IDR 3.66 trillion.
WIKA President Director Agung Budi Waskito said the assignment was an important milestone for the company's journey in contributing to national development.
According to him, the contract reflects the government's great trust in WIKA's capabilities.
"We are committed to presenting quality, timely and sustainable construction to support the realization of IKN as a world-class modern government center," he said in an official statement, Friday, December 5.
Meanwhile, WIKA is currently working on a number of other strategic projects at IKN. Some of them include the construction of Package G Roads at KIPP 1B 1C, the Sepinggan Toll Road 1B Package and the IKN Segment 3B 2 Kariangau Toll Road.

Selain itu, perseroan juga menangani pekerjaan Jalan Kawasan Hankam dan Lingkar Sepaku di KIPP serta pembangunan Jaringan IPAL 1 dan 3 KIPP IKN.
Berbagai proyek ini menjadi bagian dari kontribusi WIKA dalam mendukung percepatan pembangunan IKN sebagai pusat pemerintahan masa depan Indonesia.
