PADANG - ILUNI SMPN 214 Halim Perdanakusuma Jakarta distributed Sumatra Disaster Assistance in the form of cash to affected victims in Padang, West Sumatra, Friday (5/12/2025). The assistance was handed over directly by the ILUNI 2024 '2029 Advisor, Aji Wibawa, at the official residence of the Chairman of the West Sumatra DPRD, Buya Muhidi.

Aji emphasized that his presence in Padang was a form of empathy for alumni to the victims. "Today I represent SMP 214 Halim Perdanakusuma who came to make donations," he said.

Donations distributed are the result of cross-enforced production. According to Aji, the raising was carried out spontaneously because many alumni felt compelled to help the people of West Sumatra. "The initiator is the entire 1982 '2002 force, facilitated by the chairman of ILUNI and his staff," he said.

The collection of funds took place quickly, only three days, before it was finally distributed for the urgent needs of disaster survivors. "Aid in the form of money so that it can be used directly at the location," he explained.

Aji said that this kind of humanitarian action is not the first. Previously, ILUNI SMPN 214 also helped disaster victims in Sukabumi and floods in Bekasi. This is the third, and God willing, it will continue," he said.

He hopes that the affected residents will recover soon and reorganize their lives. "The victim can immediately have a decent place to live and the infrastructure will be repaired quickly," he concluded.
