Meanwhile, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal asked the government to immediately handle regional reports of victims of the Sumatran disaster who have not been touched by logistical assistance. He revealed that the DPR continues to communicate with BNPB and supervise.
"This emergency handling is like now there is an issue, for example, this is not a problem, it is still isolated. We also continue to carry out intensive supervision and communication with BNPB," said Cucun.
"What if there are reports to us such as villages that have not been touched, have not been touched, we ask for immediate treatment," he added.
Cucun emphasized that the handling of isolated areas must reach all regions in all provinces. "Not only North Sumatra. Like Gayo Luwes, it cannot be penetrated by either Banda Aceh or from Kuala Namu," he said.
