Minister Of Purbaya Inaugurates The Ministry Of Finance Employee Flats In Bali, Rental Rates Of IDR 300 Thousand

DENPASAR - The Ministry of Finance will expand the construction of flats (rusun) specifically for local employees in Denpasar, Bali considering the needs and availability of available land.

"We will wake up, at least one or two towers again," said Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadivewa on the sidelines of inspecting the Ministry of Finance's state civil apparatus (ASN) flat in Denpasar, Bali, Friday, December 5.

The Minister of Finance did not provide details of the budget prepared for the expansion of the flats, including the estimated time for the construction of the flats.

However, he requested that the design of the room be bigger than the design that has been built today with a building area of 36 square meters.

"For families of size 36 (square meters) it may be mediocre. If the child is already big, he can't study there anymore. So I ask that it be increased by a little larger size," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the discourse on the construction of the flats, it also accommodates residents other than the ASN of the Ministry of Finance, Purbaya explained that it takes into account the needs of its employees first.

"We see that the Ministry of Finance still needs it or not. If there are still Ministry of Finance employees who have not been able to live here, it's for Ministry of Finance employees first, we'll see what future considerations will be," he said.

Currently, two special ASN Kemenkeu flats have been built with four floors located in the Financial Education and Training Center (BDK) area in the Renon area, one of the elite areas in Denpasar, Bali.

The flat is also at a strategic point at the center of the Bali Provincial Government, easily accessible, supported by a complete area of public and recreational facilities.

Not only that, the flats are also in the BDK area of the Ministry of Finance and near the State Finance Building (GKN) complex and the regional office of the directorate general under the Ministry of Finance.

The flats cost IDR 54 billion from the 2024 State Budget with a duration of 270 calendar days.

A total of 120 units in the two towers with a capacity of 480 people.

As for every month, he continued, residents only pay Rp. 300 thousand to pay for the maintenance of flat facilities.

"Pay a month Rp. 300 thousand, for maintenance," he said.
