"Please pray and support all Indonesian people so that we can carry out this mission well and contribute maximum achievements for the Red and White," said Eng Hian in a statement received.
Indonesia actually went tight with a badminton match schedule. However, this is not a problem for athletes and the coaching team.
Eng Hian said that the provisions prepared in Indonesia were complete enough to face the competition for the Southeast Asian sports event. In addition to technique and physical, players also hold sessions with psychologists.
"Because this is a multi-event event and there are several new athletes who have come down for the first time, they must feel a different atmosphere. Hopefully, athletes will be stronger in uniting their hearts, determination and goals," he said.
The SEA Games badminton sport was held at Gymnasium 4 Thammasat University Rangsit Campus, Pathum Thani, on 6-10 December 2025 for teams and 11-14 December 2025 for individuals.
Indonesian badminton sent 20 athletes to the 2025 SEA Games, 10 athletes each. They set a target of getting two gold medals there.
