Real Madrid Surrender, Alexander-Arnold Absent For 2 Months Due To New Injury
JAKARTA - Real Madrid have confirmed that Trent Alexander-Arnold suffered a front thigh injury to his left leg as they won 3-0 over Athletic Club on Thursday, December 4, 2025, early morning WIB.
ESPN reports that the right-back will be out for at least two months. He was pulled out in the 55th minute at the San Mates and replaced by Raul Asencio.
"After tests carried out today on our player, Trent Alexander-Arnold, by Real Madrid Medical Services, he was diagnosed with a muscle injury to his left front thigh femoris Rectus. His recovery will be monitored," the club said in a statement on Thursday, December 4, 2025.
The right-back looked to have a muscle problem after kicking the ball, limping off the sidelines before asking to be pulled out.
