Victims Died Due To Floods-Longsor In Aceh Reaches 326 People, 167 Hilan People
The Aceh Hydrometeorological Disaster Emergency Response Command Post reported that as of Thursday at 19.31 WIB there were 326 deaths. A total of 167 others are still missing due to floods and landslides in Aceh.
"The number of victims who died increased again today based on reports from the regions, while those who were reported missing continued to decrease," said spokesman for the Aceh Disaster Emergency Response Command Post, Murthalamuddin in Banda Aceh as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, December 4.
Murthala said that to this day, hydrometeorological disasters that have occurred since November 18, 2025 have affected 18 districts/cities in Aceh, spread over 227 sub-districts and 3,433 gampongs (villages).
The affected residents, he continued, reached 344,018 families (KK) or 1,680,886 people. At least 297,964 families with 813,017 people displaced in 698 locations.
"Of these, 1,435 people suffered minor injuries, 523 people were seriously injured, 326 died, and 167 were still missing," he said.
In addition, Murthalamuddin also said that disasters had an impact on damaged public facilities such as 176 offices, 64 places of worship, 246 schools, six Islamic boarding schools, 442 points roads, 224 bridges, and 240 units of hospitals/puskesmas.
"This disaster also has an impact on property losses, 111,430 housing units, 182 livestock, 64,837 hectares of rice fields, and 13,118 hectares of plantations," he said.
Murthalamuddin explained that the government and the joint team are currently continuing to search for missing victims, as well as accelerating the distribution of aid to isolated areas.
"Our current focus is on evacuating, searching for missing victims, and meeting the basic needs of displaced residents," he said.
On the other hand, Murthalamuddin conveyed that the distribution of aid for victims of natural disasters in Aceh continues to be maximized through various transportation routes.
"The distribution is currently continuing and for isolated areas it is distributed by air and sea," he said.
The areas that cannot be reached by land are Aceh Tamiang, Langsa, and East Aceh. Then Bener Meriah, Central Aceh, Gayo Lues, and Southeast Aceh.
"The Aceh government together with the TNI, Polri, BNPB and all parties continue to make maximum efforts to reach and distribute aid to the entire community," said Murthalamuddin.
