West Kalimantan Governor Ria Norsan's Son Was Questioned By The KPK Regarding The Flow Of Money In The Road Project Corruption Case

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has finished examining the son of West Kalimantan Governor Ria Norsan, Arief Rinaldi, a member of the West Kalimantan Provincial DPRD today.

He was questioned about the flow of money in the corruption case of the road improvement project at the Mempawah Public Works Office for the 2015 Fiscal Year.

"The examination of witness AR, investigators are investigating the flow of funds," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Thursday, December 4.

Actually, investigators also summoned three other witnesses. They are Emma Suhartini who is a housewife, Eddy Dwi Pribadi as a notary, and Istiqomah Iskandar who is a private employee.

However, all three were not present. Budi did not specify whether there was any confirmation submitted.

"Other witnesses were not present," said Budi.

In this case, the KPK has examined the Governor of West Kalimantan, Ria Norsan, who once served as the Regent of Mempawah. The private house and official residence of the Mempawah Regent, whose wife Erlina has also been searched by investigators.

Previously reported, the KPK is currently investigating allegations of corruption in the Sekabuk Road improvement project Sei Semeram and Jalan Sejat Rama Sei Semeram at the Mempawah District Public Works Office for the 2015 Fiscal Year. The investigation warrant (sprindik) has been issued some time ago.

In this case, the KPK has named three suspects even though it has not been officially announced. The information obtained mentions the three names are Abdurahman (PNS), Lutfi Kaharuddin (wiraswasta/President Director of PT Aditama Borneo Prima), and Idy Safriadi (PNS Mempawah Regency).
