Bahlil: Cak Imin Also Must Repent Nasuha, Self Evaluate

JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia stated that all ministers, including himself and the Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment, Muhaimin Iskandar, must evaluate themselves (total drugs/total drugs) related to disasters that occurred in three provinces.

Bahlil's statement was in response to the call of Coordinating Minister Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) who wrote to three ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, including the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, to conduct a total evaluation or what he called in the term nasuha tobat.

"If it is Nasuha's conversion, Cak Imin is also the conversion of nasuha, yes. All of us, what do we all have to do... yes, self-evaluate, yes," said Bahlil when answering reporters' questions at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Thursday, December 4, reported by ANTARA.

Bahlil emphasized that only President Prabowo Subianto could give orders to ministers in the cabinet.

Therefore, he emphasized that he only focused on carrying out President Prabowo's orders, especially handling at disaster sites.

"What can be done in the cabinet, which can be my orders, Mr. President Prabowo, and I focus on carrying out the affairs of the people and what is ordered by the President. I am still taking care of business at the disaster site," said Bahlil.

On a different occasion, Coordinating Minister Muhaimin admitted to sending a letter to the Minister of Forestry Raja Juli Antoni, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia and Minister of Environment Hanif Faisol Nurrofiq.

Cak Imin explained that the letter contained an invitation to evaluate the total policies and steps taken by the government regarding floods in Sumatra.

This invitation is related to the flash floods and landslides that occurred in North Sumatra, West Sumatra and Aceh.

"As a form of our commitment and seriousness as government. The NU language, Tobat Nasuha. That's the key," said Cak Imin when giving a speech in Bandung (1/12).

As nahdliyin, Cak Imin explained that the government must carry out a total evaluation of policies related to nature, or what he calls nasuha tobats.
