Google Presents Follow-Up Translation Circle To Search On Pixel Phones
JAKARTA The ability for further translation in Circle to Search was initially only exclusive for Samsung devices. Now, Google has ended its exclusivity by expanding the feature to Pixel devices.
Launching from 9to5google, the expansion of this feature is part of the launch of Android 16 QPR2 and a number of new features from Google. With this new capability, Circle to Search in Pixel is now not just looking for objects and translating screenshots.
Competitive Pixel users can also scroll while viewing translations using Circle to Search. This feature allows users to translate pages in a foreign language directly without the need to capture screens one by one.
This increase is much more efficient because users don't need to close Circle to Search, scroll and roll it out again repeatedly. This ability is very useful when users are opening third-party applications with long feeds.

In accordance with Google's directives, this feature is suitable for reading content in a sustainable feed, for example in reading menus, news articles, or social media posts and comments. Basically, this feature is here to overcome the challenges of multi-language content in the application.
To use this feature, users only need to activate Circle to Search. At the bottom of the screen, users will see a pill-shaped icon identical to Search Live. With this icon, users can end continuous translation or hide it in the bottom right corner of the screen.
This feature was originally only available on Samsung devices in September 2025, but now Google has expanded it to Pixels running the stable version of the Google app. This expansion appears to coincide with the launch of fraudulent detection at Circle to Search and Google Lens.
