Malaysian Streets Threaten Car Drivers Using Toy Guns Arrested

JAKARTA - Malaysian Police arrested a middle-aged man in a street cowboy style threatening a van driver using a toy gun.

Citing Bernama, Thursday, December 4, the incident occurred at a traffic light intersection near the Choh River Leadership yesterday.

Hulu Selangor Police Chief, Supt. Ibrahim Husin, said that his party received a report related to the incident at around 14.00.

The Criminal Investigation Division team then arrested the 54-year-old suspect at 22:45 p.m. on Cempaka Street, Bukit Sentosa.

From the arrest, the Malaysian Police secured a number of pieces of evidence, including a black guncase that reads 'Mikro' and a motorcycle.

The results of the police investigation also showed that this Malaysian street cowboy had a criminal record.

The perpetrator was detained for three days from today until December 6 for further investigation.

This case was investigated under Article 506 of the Malaysian Criminal Code.
