Police Arrested Fugitive Embezzlement Company Rp50 Million In East Manggarai
LABUAN BAJO - East Manggarai Police (Malim) East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) arrested one person who was on the wanted list (DPO) of the Samarinda Police, East Kalimantan for allegedly embezzling company money worth IDR 50 million.
"The perpetrator with the initials GMM (27), lives in Mugirejo Village, Samarinda City, East Kalimantan Province," said Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Reskrim) of the East Manggarai Police, Iptu Ahmad Zacky Shodri, quoted by Antara, Thursday, December 4.
He said the alleged perpetrator of GMM was a resident from East Manggarai Regency and worked at a private company in Samarinda City.
Based on the results of coordination with the Samarinda Police, it is known that the perpetrator fled to East Manggarai Regency after the embezzlement carried out was known to the company and reported to the police.
He said the arrests took place without a hitch and the situation at the location of the arrests was reported to be safe and under control.
"When secured, the alleged perpetrator did not fight back," he said.

After being secured, the perpetrator was secured at the Resmob Unit of the East Manggarai Police Criminal Investigation Unit and then taken to the Samarinda Police Station to account for his actions.
"On Tuesday, December 2, 2025 yesterday at the East Manggarai Police Headquarters, we handed over the alleged perpetrator to the Samarinda Police," he said.
