AKBP Basuki Fired From The National Police After The Ethics Trial Regarding The Death Of Untag Lecturer
SEMARANG - AKBP Basuki was officially fired from the National Police institution after undergoing an ethics trial related to the death of a lecturer at the University of August 17, 1945 (Untag) Semarang, Dwinanda Linchia Levi. The Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) session took place on Wednesday, December 3 from 10.00 to 16.00 WIB at the Central Java Police.
After the trial, Basuki left the courtroom under the strict supervision of the Propam Division members. He was seen wearing a green vest and his hands were tied with a lattice rope, marking his status as a examinee.
The victim's family attorney, Zaenal Lightning, confirmed that the KKEP trial decided that Basuki was subject to PTDH (disrespectful dismissal). "The results of the trial were decided by PTDH, dismissal with disrespect or dismissal," he said after the trial.
According to Zaenal, there were three main considerations that weighed on AKBP Basuki. First, he was judged to have committed a disgraceful act that tarnished the image of the Police.
Second, he was proven to be sleeping with a woman who is not a legal partner or family. Third, Basuki was sentenced to an additional sentence in the form of special placement (patsus) for 30 days.
The information received shows that the Central Java Police Chief's Order for the implementation of the KKEP trial was issued on December 1, 2025. The trial was chaired by Kombes Fidel as chairman, with Kombes Rio Tangkari as deputy chairman, and AKBP Dandung as a member of the commission.
During the trial, there was also a team of prosecutors, defenders, and companions. The companion said that while on duty, Basuki never had a history of disciplinary violations. In fact, his wife is said to be still willing to accept back and hopes that her husband will not be sentenced to PTDH. Basuki also had time to apply for an early retirement.

However, the public prosecutor considered that there were no mitigating factors. Basuki's actions are considered to have gone viral and further damage the image of the police institution. "His actions reduced the image of the Police because it went viral, and was proven to be sleeping in one room outside of a marriage relationship," said Zaenal.
This PTDH decision marks the end of AKBP Basuki's career in the police force. This case is still a public concern because it relates to the mysterious death of Dwinanda Linchia Levi, which still leaves a question mark.
