Dani Olmo Reportedly Will Be Absent For 1 Month After Experiencing Shoulder Dislocation
JAKARTA - Dani Olmo will miss about a month after experiencing a shoulder dislocation while scoring his second goal in Barcelona's 3-1 win over Atletico Madrid on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, early morning WIB.
The 27-year-old fell in an uncomfortable position as he passed Jan Oblak in the 65th minute to put Barcelona ahead 2-1.
The Spaniard was immediately replaced and tests at the club's training ground confirmed that he had a shoulder dislocation.
He will miss Barcelona's remaining four matches in 2025, against Real Betis, Eintracht Frankfurt, Osasuna, and Villarreal.

LaLiga will then have a winter break, with Barcelona returning to action on January 3, 2026 against city rivals Espanyol, where Olmo is likely to return to play.
The injury occurred just as Olmo was discovering his best form, scoring twice in last weekend's win over Alaves and then scoring another goal against Atletico Madrid.
Barcelona are now at the top of the LaLiga standings four points ahead of Real Madrid, who will face the Athletic Club on Thursday, December 4, 2025, early morning WIB.
Meanwhile, the Blaugrana is also currently without Fermin Lopez, who will be Olmo's replacement, due to a calf injury despite hopes he can return to fight Betis or Frankfurt.
Frenkie de Jong is also expected to return to play this weekend after being absent against Atletico Madrid due to the flu. However, Gavi and Marc-Andre ter Stegen are still long-term absent.
Then, Ronald Araujo has been given indefinite rest time to help overcome his mental health problems.
Fortunately, Raphinha and Pedri have returned in recent weeks. They immediately showed how important his second role was for Hansi Flick's team with a brilliant performance in winning over Atletico Madrid.
Barcelona, who have now won six consecutive times at LaLiga since losing at El Clasico against Real Madrid, will return to action in the league on Sunday, December 7, 2025, early in the morning WIB, when they travel to Real Betis headquarters.
