The National Police Chief Ensures That The Perpetrators Of The Looting In Sibolga Have Been Released

National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo stated that the perpetrators of the looting of several supermarkets in Sibolga, North Sumatra, who were detained by the police some time ago, have now been released.

"Regarding the information on looting, until now no one has been secured. We have released everything," said the National Police Chief in Jakarta, Wednesday, December 3, as reported by ANTARA.

The National Police Chief revealed the reason for the release was because the perpetrator was a victim of a flash flood disaster that needed food.

"We also understand that at that time they only needed food logistics and now everything has been released," he said.

Previously, the Sibolga Resort Police arrested 16 perpetrators suspected of being involved in looting at several supermarkets.
