Purbaya: KCJB Debt Discussion Scheme Must Be Final Before Departing For China
JAKARTA - Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadives opened his voice regarding Danantara's invitation to go to China to discuss the debt of the Jakarta Fast Train (KCJB).
He stated his readiness to participate, but emphasized that he would only leave when the discussion agenda was clear.
Purbaya said that the planned visit is still in the discussion stage with Danantara and is currently finalizing a proposal that will be used in negotiations related toPORTsh's debt in China.
"It's just that we haven't, I say this. I don't know who to find in China. What is the China Development NDRC (National Development and Reform Commission). Later, when it's clear who we will meet and what the scheme will be, then we go to China. If not, I'm confused (in) who to find China, it's not clear," he told the media crew, Wednesday, December 3.
Purbaya also explained that he had met the CEO of Danantara Rosan Roeslani, at the Ministry of Finance and one of the topics of the meeting was a plan to discussPORTsh's debt with the Chinese side.
"Including KCIC, we will still look for the right shape, what it will be like. Later the technical team will discuss it with my technical team. It's still not clear exactly what it looks like. I don't know the details yet. But the big picture is clear what we want to do in the future. It should be, "he said.
Previously, Rosan said that his party was currently still in the stage of finalizing the proposal before leaving for China to negotiate the Fast Train debt.

Along with that, Rosan also admitted that he was still communicating with the Minister of Finance, Purbaya Yudhi Sadive.
"We continue to communicate with Pak Purbaya. We sit down and are confirming that later we will go to (the) China, we have completed the proposal to China," he told reporters, Wednesday, November 26.
When asked whether negotiations would be carried out in December this year, Rosan admitted that he could not confirm it. However, he confirmed that he would send a preliminary team to start talks with the Chinese side.
"Of course we will send an advance team first to talk to the team from China that is already running. But later the gong maybe I with Pak Purbaya (will fly to China)," he said.
