Video Uploader Of Burned Qurab Captured In Duren Sawit Jakbar
JAKARTA - South Jakarta Metro Police arrested a man with the initials M on Monday, May 24, early morning in Tanjung Duren, West Jakarta. He allegedly uploaded a video containing the Burned Quran and then went viral on social media.
"After we searched the account used on social media is not the identity of the one posted on the 'wall' of social media," said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Commissioner Azis Andriansyah in Jakarta, reported antara, Tuesday, May 25.

Azis explained M had previously had a close relationship with a woman and created an instagram account with the woman's name.
M later uploaded a video containing hate speech and allegedly denouncing certain religions on @farhanah_santoso_245 Instagram account and went viral on social media.
From the video, the fire burned half of the Quran and there are also inappropriate words written on the pages of the holy book.
"It turns out that this was preceded by a close relationship first and then came the final offense with the intention to take revenge or avenge, then create a fake account in the name of the woman," added Azis.
The police ensnared the perpetrator M with Law No. 11 of 2008 on Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE Law) with the threat of a sentence of six years in prison.
