Cak Imin Asks The King Of July Until Bahlil Repents Nasuha, The DPR Urges The Minister Not To Blame Each Other

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of Commission IV of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Panggah Susanto responded to the statement by the Coordinating Minister for Human Empowerment (PM) Muhaimin Iskandar or CakImin who asked the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia and the Minister of Forestry RajaJuliAntoni to undergo the nasuha token, responding to the flash floods and landslides in Sumatra.

According to Panggah, the government should not throw responsibilities and blame each other between ministries. Panggah emphasized that what the community needs now is a comprehensive process of handling and preventive measures, so that in the future it can minimize the occurrence of floods and landslides.

"There is no need to throw the wrong responsibility and blame each other, the most important thing is that we must be aware of living in disaster-prone areas, to anticipate comprehensive improvements to prevent potential disasters, both floods, landslides, forest fires, earthquakes," Panggah told reporters, Wednesday, December 3.

For information, the nasuha tobat is a matter that is done seriously, full of sincerity, and does not repeat the sins that have been committed.

Panggah menilai, pernyataan Cak Imin tersebut tidak tepat dan sangat tendensius. Sebab menurutnya, pernyataan ini justru tidak memberikan solusi atas masalah yang terjadi.

"In principle, it is very inappropriate to issue such a statement in a state of disaster like this, especially since it came out of a Muhaimin Iskandar who is also in the government serving as Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture," said the Golkar legislator.

Previously, Cak Imin invited three ministers to repent after the disaster occurred in Sumatra. Namely, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Forestry Raja Juli Antoni, and Minister of Environment (LHK) Hanif Faisol Nurofiq.

Cak Imin invites them to repent and realize that the ministry's work is not perfect. The invitation was conveyed by Cak Imin at the 'School Principal's Workhop for the Go Global Vocational School Program' in Bandung, Monday, December 1.

Cak Imin assessed that the nasuha tobat was an effort to deeply regret and improve the government's work.
