Sri Mulyani Cs Success Collects State Revenues Of Rp585 Trillion, Higher Than Last Year
JAKARTA - Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani said state revenues until April 30, 2021 amounted to Rp585 trillion or 33.5 percent of the budget ceiling in the 2021 State Budget of Rp1,743 trillion.
The achievement in the four months is known to grow 6.5 percent from the same period in 2020 of Rp549.4 trillion.
In detail, state revenues throughout the year were supported by tax revenues of Rp374.9 trillion, customs and excise rp78.7 trillion, non-tax state revenues (PNBP) of Rp131.3 trillion and grants of Rp100 billion.
"Tax receipts are still the main supporters of state revenues. Although still in contraction of growth, the figure is already very small which is 0.5 percent," he said in a virtual state budget press conference, Tuesday, May 25.
In terms of spending, the Minister of Finance said that until April this year the country has realized a budget of Rp723 trillion.
Thus, when comparing the posture of revenue and spending, the deficit is recorded at Rp138.1 trillion as of April 2021. This amount is partly met by state-assembled financing as well as refocusing the budgets of a number of ministries and institutions.
To be known, in the State Budget 2021 state spending is planned at Rp2,750 trillion with an estimated budget deficit in one year of around Rp1,000 trillion or equivalent to 5.7 percent of gross domestic product (GDP).
