Bahlil: Inauguration Of The Lampung Golkar DPD Management Early Consolidation Towards The 2029 Election
JAKARTA - The General Chairperson of the Central Executive Board (DPP) of the Golkar Party, Bahlil Lahadalia, emphasized that the inauguration of the Golkar Party DPD Board was not just a ceremony, but was the beginning of a long journey towards a major political target in the 2029 election.
This was conveyed by Bahlil in his remarks as well as official directions at the inauguration of the Lampung Golkar Party DPD Management which was held at the Novotel Hotel, Bandar Lampung on Sunday, November 30, 2025.
According to him, this inauguration is the starting point to strengthen consolidation, solidity, and the readiness of all party elements in dealing with changes in campaign patterns which are now increasingly digital-based.
"Pelatian bukan akhir dari sebuah proses konsolidasi, tapi awal dari proses menuju tujuan di yang besar yakni Pemilu di tahun 2029," tegas Bahlil.
Furthermore, Bahlil highlighted that the current political winning strategy has changed significantly. Although conventional consolidation is still needed, he stressed that campaigns in the digital era demand creativity, more open communication, and the ability to read voter characters.
The number of voters in 2029 aged 17 to 50 years reached 73 percent. This is the digital era. Consolidation must go all out, must adapt to a new pattern," he said.
Bahlil also reiterated the long history of the birth of the Golkar Party as an inclusive party, not an exclusive.

He called the historical roots of Golkar a big capital to continue to maintain openness, diversity, and closeness to the people. Bahlil also emphasized that Golkar is a party full of experience, both in winning elections and leading the government.
"32 years old this country is led by Golkar, with all its pluses and minuses. That is proof of our long experience in building the nation," said Bahlil.
