RKAP Danantara 2026: Starting From The Waste Energy Plant Project To Hajj Village
JAKARTA - Danantara Indonesia has included waste energy generation projects into electricity (PSEL), Hajj villages in Makkah to expansion in the financial sector through the capital market in the 2026 Company Work Plan and Budget (RKAP).
This RKAP 2026 has also been conveyed by Danantara Indonesia in a Working Meeting with the Leaders and Members of Commission XI of the DPR RI which took place behind closed doors on Monday, December 1, 2025.
CEO of Danantara Indonesi Rosan Roeslani said the roadmap or investment roadmap 2026 is focused on producing sustainable returns as well as having a national economic impact.
Our investment patrolmap is drawn up with a measurable, oriented approach to the creation of cross-generational values. Our mandate clearly presents healthy returns for the country, while ensuring that each investment strengthens Indonesia's economic resilience and encourages national transformation," he said in an official statement, Tuesday, December 2.
Rosan said the Danantara Indonesia strategy for 2026 was focused on developing strategic projects, strengthening priority sectors, and diversifying cross-asset portfolios and geography. This investment will also integrate long-term strategic investments with private and public investments that provide more stable cash flow.
Rosan said, this approach ensures a balance between risks and yields, as well as allows Danantara Indonesia to finance development projects to have a major impact on the community and maintain portfolio resilience in the long term.
"We build a portfolio with a cautious and strong diversification basis. Every investment decision must meet two objectives, namely maintaining the value of state assets and ensuring the benefits that return to the community in the long term," he said.
Danantara Indonesia, continued Rosan, implements a tight and transparent strategic project classification framework, which ensures that every investment is in line with the aspirations of national development, has a large-scale social impact of the environment, provides significant economic value, and remains commercially viable.
For example, the Hajj Village Project in Makkah which was initiated through Presidential Instruction No. 15/2025. This initiative is designed to improve the quality of accommodation for Indonesian pilgrims, who are the largest pilgrims in the world, as well as answer the need for a more permanent and planned service solution.
The initiative is projected to open up to 7,500 jobs for Indonesian workers and generate economic value of more than IDR 2.5 trillion per year through strengthening the halal ecosystem.
"The Blessing Project is not only about congregational accommodation, but about opening up new economic opportunities for Indonesia and improving public service standards for people who carry out the pilgrimage," said Rosan.
In addition, Rosan explained the waste-to-energy (WTE) project as an example of a domestic strategic project that supports the energy security agenda and the handling of national waste emergencies.
This project has the potential to create 3,500 to 4,500 jobs during construction, hundreds of jobs remain during operations, as well as potential contributions of up to IDR 1.6 trillion per year to GDP during development.
