Bogor Lifts 3,868 Middle-aged Workers To Strengthen Public Services
BOGOR Bogor City Government appointed 3,868 Middle-Time Government Employees (PPPK) to strengthen public services in various sectors. The appointment was announced by the Mayor of Bogor, Dedie A. Rachim, while leading the ceremony to commemorate the 54th Anniversary of the KORPRI in Sempur Field, Monday, December 1.
The personnel appointed consisted of 200 teachers, 17 health workers, and 3,651 technical personnel. They were placed in four positions, namely Operational General Manager 749 people, Operational Service Operator 2,492 people, Operational Service Manager 116 people, and Operational Service Arranger 294 people.
Dedie said the existence of this part-time personnel greatly helped the sustainability of public services in Bogor City.
"Without PPPK, it will be a bit difficult if you only rely on full-time PPPK. This is part of the government's support in improving performance and ensuring that services to the community can be carried out," said Dedie in his statement, Tuesday, December 2.
The appointment has a legal basis through the Decree of the Minister of PANRB Number 16 of 2025 as a follow-up to Law Number 20 of 2023 concerning State Civil Apparatus.
At the regional level, the determination is stated in the Decree of the Mayor of Bogor Number 800.1.2.5/Kep.472-BKPSDM/2025 with TMT 1 October 2025 and starting duty on January 1, 2026.

On that occasion, Dedie also reminded employees to increase their concern for the environment and disaster mitigation. He emphasized that environmental damage can trigger various disasters so that prevention needs to be a common concern.
"Environmental conservation and not littering is the responsibility of all parties, not just the government," he said.
